This is the band picture for the band I am going to use for my A2 Media Project.
They are called 'The Carpet Lions' and are a local band from Biddulph. The three members James Ryan (Vocals), Rob Hughes (Piano and Backing Vocals) and James Shufflebotham (Guitar) have been close friends for many years, when Rob and James S decided to form their own band as they have a similar taste in music.
After one unsuccessful band was formed and gone, they decided to try again, this time with a less serious theme. After searching for a singer, they decided to audition their close friend James Ryan. With his ability to rap and sing and hold an audience's attention, he was just what they were looking for. Since then they have been making songs, making video's for them and uploading them to Facebook and Youtube, 'The Carpet Lions' have become a well known local band. With their cheeky humour and charm they have managed to get their own gig at 'The Sugarmill' in Hanley which was a huge success. 'The Carpet Lions' also entered the 'Signal Star' competition hosted by the local radio station Signal 1, and got through to the final 12 but then sadly missed out. They're growing stronger and stronger and as they are liked by the local public, they are the ideal band to use in my video.

Style
'The Carpet Lions' take some of their fashion sense from the popular band 'Rizzle Kicks'. 'Rizzle Kicks' are very modern and are bringing out hit after hit within and out of the UK. They are 'The Carpet Lions' main idols with a lot of their songs being influenced by them. 'Rizzle Kicks' tend to wear checked shirts, jeans or chinos and my band also wear these sort of things.

Colour Scheme
A colour scheme is important for the album cover and the poster, but also for the music video too.
I am going to use the band's three main colours, orange, green and blue. 'The Carpet Lions' are already quite well known with these three colours as each of the band members wear one of these colours for every performance.
My music video will be no different, they will be wearing these colours once again and then I will incoorporate these three colours into the album cover and the poster.

Inspirational
The music video's, album covers and posters I have analysed have been inspirational to me and have given me some more ideas of what to do in my music video. They have also shown me the level I need to work at in order to get the grade I want.
Over the next few months I will be looking to film, create and edit my own music video.
